Osteomyelitis in mandibular
About the preparation:
Ox head, sawn through. T = tongue

Pathoanatomical diagnosis:
Chronic pyogranulomatous osteomyelitis with localization in the left mandible.

Pathogenesis:
Local spread (lymfogen or by spread directly from an adjacent infection) of bacteria from the oral cavity after injury, including periodontitis.

Etiology:
Actinomyces bovis
